HARPAL SINGH is a 39 years old farmer residing at his farm house in a small village near Jyotisar on Kurukshetra & Pehowa Road. He is doing mushroom farming since 1994. He has evolved and presiding a cooperative organization named Kurukshetra Mushroom Production and Marketing Cooperative Society Limited.
He has networked several members from nearby districts. He has designed a Mushroom Production center with the help of DRDA Kurkshetra. He gives credit to entire development in mushroom sector to Mr. T.K. Sharma former deputy Commissioner of Kurkshetra.

INNOVATION
HARPAL SINGH has improved on the growing patterns and accessories required to grow mushrooms. he has used net to support compost instead of polythene recommended by Govt. agencies. he has worked up the mesh size of net and standardize it according to the varieties of mushrooms.
